Aurora III Sidehandle Teapot
Aurora III Sidehandle Teapot
This medium/ large sized unglazed teapot is made of smooth iron rich clay that imparts a smooth texture and a luminous finish as magical as the Aurora Boralis.
Hand- built in the Czech Republic and wood- fired at 1300°C, she features charcoal effects and fire marks and can serve a 8-10 bowls comfortably. Fewer bowls can be served as well, of course, using less water.
Every tea lover knows that the masters work is evident in the pour of the tea from the spout, the feel of the bowl in your hands, the weight of the clay and all of the ineffable details of craftsmanship that make a piece sing. This piece is an embodiment of such mastery.
Volume: 768 ml = 26 oz
Firing: Woodfired 1300°C
Usage and care: Hand wash with warm water only after each session. Allow to air dry on a clean cloth. Store away from other kitchen wares in a tea cabinet or on a tea shelf or table.
Each is a unique piece of art and no two pieces are identical
