Made from hand-dug wild clay and covered in kaolin engobe and feldspar glaze, these small teacups were woodfired to 1280°C by a tea master in the Czech Republic.

Every tea lover knows that watching teaware age over time is one of the great joys of a life of tea. Once we begin to see our teaware as sacred tools of the art of life, the crackles in the galze, the tea patina or a shift in color begin to take on meaning and great appreciation.

Volume (each cup): 30 mL/ 3.4 oz

Measures (each cup): 1.75 inches tall X 2.25 inches in diameter at the widest point (the lip of the cup)

Usage and care: Hand wash with warm water only after each session. Allow to air dry on a clean cloth. Store away from other kitchen wares in a tea cabinet or on a tea shelf or table.
