This matcha bowl was hand-built and wood-fired in the Ukraine by a master teaware artist bringing attention to each touch of brush, carve of clay, curve of the cup and form of the footing.
Elements of Wabi Sabi are threaded throughout… the luxury in simplicity, the impermanence of earth, water, leaves and fire and the way the color and lustre of the clay will deepen and glow from the inside over time—just like the deepening peace of mind and inner light that comes with daily practice.
Usage and care: Hand wash with warm water only after each session. Allow to air dry on a clean cloth. Store away from other kitchen wares in a tea cabinet or on a tea shelf or table.
